César y Rolando son dos sobrevivientes de disparos de guerra efectuados por militares contra una manifestación desarmada en Octubre 2019 en La Serena. Un fotografo independiente y un músico fueron testigos de estos hechos. Ese día marcó un antes y un despuésen la vida de todas estas personas. Desde el dolor, el trauma y el abandono del Estado, sus testimonios configuran un relato que busca imponerse al olvido y nos entrega una visión íntima de las consecuencias de la violencia politica en un país insiste en responder con las balas la dignidad de su pueblo.

César and Rolando are two survivors of war shots fired by the military against an unarmed demonstration in October 2019 in La Serena. A freelance photographer and a musician witnessed these events. That day marked a before and after in the lives of all these people. From the pain, the trauma and the abandonment of the State, their testimonies shape a story that seeks to impose itself on oblivion and gives us an intimate vision of the consequences of political violence in a country that insists on responding to the dignity of its people with bullets.

César und Rolando sind zwei Überlebende der Schüsse, die das Militär im Oktober 2019 auf eine unbewaffnete Demonstration in La Serena abfeuerte. Ein freiberuflicher Fotograf und ein Musiker waren Zeugen dieser Ereignisse. Dieser Tag markierte ein Vorher und Nachher im Leben all dieser Menschen. Aus dem Schmerz, dem Trauma und der Verlassenheit des Staates formen ihre Zeugnisse eine Geschichte,die sich dem Vergessen aufdrängen will und uns eine intime Vision der Folgen politischer Gewalt in einem Land gibt, das darauf besteht, auf die Würde seiner Menschen mit Kugeln zu antworten.
